In honor of International Day of the Girl, I’m looking back at one of my favorite experiences from 2023 , serving as the Global Teen Ambassador for Dress for Success Greater London’s Teen for Success campaign, sponsored by Adrianna Papell.
Together with Milk Honey Bees, we hosted a workshop that focused on career exploration, goal setting, and building confidence. We spent the day encouraging young women to dream big, speak boldly, and believe in their potential. I helped lead small-group discussions about resilience and shared what I’ve learned from growing up as a third-culture teen — constantly adapting, yet always staying rooted in purpose.
After the workshop, each participant was crowned, handed roses, and styled by Adrianna Papell for a confidence-boosting photo shoot. Watching each girl light up in front of the camera reminded me that empowerment starts from within, but it grows strongest in community.

International Day of the Girl stands for: helping girls see their own brilliance and step into it with confidence.
